Lori Joy - Worship singer / Recording Artist

Lori Joy began her service to the Lord as a worship singer at the tender age of 8 when her singer/songwriter mother pulled her up onto the church stage to sing backup harmonies. Soon after, Lori and her mother began their ministry travels from one church community to the next in the Southwest United States as guest singers in several churches, and at other venues.

In 1983, the singing duo moved to Canada where Lori's mom then retired from music ministry, and Lori Joy continued forward to established herself as a much in demand back-up singer, and as a lead singer at several churches across Canada over the years.

It was while serving at Central Evangelical Free Church in Thunder Bay, Ontario that Lori would meet and serve together with Jamie Remus who was a Worship Leader there for several years until careers took them in other directions for a time. But after some years God would bring their paths together again, this time with love blossoming between them. In the fall of 2018, Jamie and Lori moved to to Victoria, BC where they have served together at a couple of churches, and in various other Christian Music projects.

This husband/wife team also runs a small studio where they are currently working on recording an Album, as well as doing voiceover work for Christian projects, as well as recording Lori Joy's upcoming Video Podcasts.

Lori is also an active member of Country Gospel Music Inc. Canada (formerly called CGMA Canada), and won the Best New Artist, Best Acapella, and Bluegrass Artist of the Year awards at the 2025 CGMA conference held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
